    In the first three levels, Starfish, Duck, and Sea Turtle, parents and infants focus on water orientation and water safety.   • Red Cross Swim Kids Program (ages 6 and older)

    The Red Cross Swim Kids Program is for children ages 5 and older. In this 10-level program swimmers develop the five main swimming strokes—front crawl, back crawl, elementary back stroke, breast stroke, and sidestroke. They will learn which strokes will help them to stay safe and get out of trouble when in the water and which will help increase fitness level and endurance.   • Leadership Courses - Bronze Star, Bronze Medallion and Bronze Cross

    Bronze Star (10 hrs) Candidates develop swimming proficiency, lifesaving skills and personal fitness. Bronze Star is excellent preparation for success in Bronze Medallion and provides a fun introduction to lifesaving sport. Prerequisite: None (Swim Patrol experience recommended.)
